Artist’s Statement – My sculpture “Trans-Formation” is about 3 feet tall with the transgender colors of light pink, baby blue and white and is made of one continuous steel “ribbon” that infers continuity yet appears quite different at various angles. There will be another version that has a ball-bearing swivel at its base that enables it to turn at the slightest touch.
